Get Lost With Me
Welcome! I’m glad to have you join me. Click through for my journey through my 20s. Yes, I know most of them have to deal with romance, but that’s honestly the true start of my 20’s.
The catalyst to my many downfalls, the contributor to the L’s I’ve taken but also the catalyst to my long-lasting and continuous healing journey.
Here is some background for my stories. I am around 6’0 ft tall and have always been tall my entire life. Not quite sure if I am 6’0 currently because to “6′ 0” men I surpass them by one to two inches and I honestly feel like one of us has to be lying and it can’t be me (it might be me) so I refuse to change my height to 6’1 or 6’2 because no.
So to men, I identify as 6’0 but to women (my close friends really), I like to say I’m 6’2 as their reference point in case they want to fact check their dates.
Because you know men, they love adding two inches to something they don’t have.
They lie so much about their height that I’ve found a rule which I’ve come to since online dating and since arguing with my cousin about his height that I have to minus two from every guy’s said height.
In addition to being tall, I am plus-size and an extroverted- introvert with really poor social skills. I am also a bilingual and a half queen ( I am half equipped in Spanish, Duolingo can confirm) and the eldest daughter in a Haitian household (imagine the trauma guys). I wasn’t born in America so I’m the immigrant child my family brought for a better life.
Now that you have an idea of the awkward author and a taste of what to expect, you are now ready to begin reading about my chaotic life journeys.
